LDS Law Students: Arkansas court rules that Mormonism is not Protestantism
http://ldslawstudents.blogspot.com/2008/10/arkansas-court-rules-that-mormonism-is.html
A forum for LDS law students around the country. Monday, October 20, 2008. Arkansas court rules that Mormonism is not Protestantism. The Arkansas Court of Appeals recently handed down an unusual ruling in which a man was held in contempt for involving his children in the LDS Church. The interesting part of this case, as it relates to the Mormon Church, is the court's discussion of whether the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was a Protestant church. The court noted:. Ark App. CA08-193. Have ne...

Mommy J.D. - Where life and law mix. Thursday, August 27, 2009. All Things Shall Work Together for Our Good. A new school year has begun and each morning the children scurry to gather their belongings and head out the door. Four children in four different schools this year makes for quite an interesting school day! By 8:45 am the house is again quiet and it's just me and the dog both of us wondering what to do with ourselves all day. Work together for my good. March 12, 2010 at 4:03 AM. Jax Beach RS Ward.

Mommy J.D. - Where life and law mix.: WE DID IT!!!
http://eastcoastwilkesfamily.blogspot.com/2009/06/we-did-it.html
Mommy J.D. - Where life and law mix. Wednesday, June 24, 2009. Yes, that's right, WE did it! I am especially grateful to my wonderful husband for being so supportive of my endeavor. Without him, fulfilling my dream would have been impossible and I have come to truly respect the amazing man that he is. This time has also allowed my children to develop a deep bond with their father; an opportunity most children rarely get these days. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Devin and Amanda Call.

Mommy J.D. - Where life and law mix. Sunday, November 17, 2013. Variations on a Sacred Hymn. So it's been a few months, ok - four years - since I've posted to the blog, but my goal is to become better at this whole blog thing. The third verse of the hymn. How many of us go through life thinking we always have to be strong, we have to solve a situation on our own, or that we have something to prove? Do we go through a challenge and pray only after we've tried to figure it all out on our own? So the next t...
