Wednesday, December 5, 2012. Is another special temple for our family. My wife grew up in Clovis, California. Through most of her youth, the Oakland Temple was her temple. Her ward would take all of the youth in a big caravan to do baptisms. Since then, they built the Fresno temple. Which is only 20 minutes from her parent's house. Sunday, July 21, 2013. The Seattle Temple has particularly beautiful grounds. It is located in an area that I would describe as a rain forest. But, I'm not an environmental expert, so don't quote me on that. The grounds are surrounded by beautiful trees, and filled with beautiful flowers. It was absolutely stunning. Sunday, November 18, 2012. Brigham City Utah Temple. The Brigham City Temple. One thing that was neat about this temple, was that we had been able to stop by and see it under construction when we went to the Logan Temple. At this point, the temple was just a hollow shell. My wife and I at the temple construction site. Of course, now it's all completed. The grounds are beautiful and there is no construction equipment. You can't really see the sign above, but it's easier to read in the closeup below.

Friday, July 31, 2015. Is very beautiful. It was surprisingly similar to the Portland Temple. Which we had visited the day before. The main difference being that it was much smaller. We had driven from Portland that morning and came to this temple in the afternoon. It was a welcome experience to enjoy the quiet peace of the temple as opposed to the sometimes hectic experience of driving (particularly in Oregon traffic.). Me with the sign out front. Sunday, November 23, 2014. Is beautiful. It's very similar to the Brigham City Temple. I was impressed with how busy this temple was. When I first went into the dressing room, I had a hard time finding a locker that wasn't already in use. That's a good problem to have.
