And other places in Europe . Sunday, July 16, 2006. Sailing at Ardleigh Reservoir. This weekend David took Daniela, my new neighbour from Erfurt in Germany (! And me to Ardleigh Reservoir just outside Colchester. The sailing club there had an open day and people could try out everything on the water, like sailing, windsurfing, canoeing . Although we turned up quite late we managed to get a space on a saling boat. That was fun! And the BBQ was delicous too :). David, his sister Sam and David's friend Tom.

Nach dem Skydiven war erstmal eine Runde Fish and Chips am Strand vom Lake Taupo notwendig. Übernachtet wird im Kiwi Holiday Park in Taupo – sehr gut, recht sauber, ruhig gelegen und das Barbecue funktioniert. Etwas teurer für einen Stellplatz für zwei (55 NZD), aber soweit in Ordnung. Thank you for being my tour guide, Gary :) xxx. This cake was so rich of lovely dark chocolate, even I couldn't finish it. I had to wrap half of it in a tissue and take it with me. And other places in Europe . Wednesday, January 03, 2007. New Year's Eve in Copenhagen. That's Danish and means "Happy New Year". And that's about all I learned in this funny language while spending a few days with Gary in Copenhagen. On our first day we went into the famous "Tivoli". A funfair right in the town center. It was great! The rides were fab and everything reminded me of a christmas market. Of course we had to have some Glühwein! This ride was soooo cool! I was screaming everytime we went on it.
