Tuesday, February 28, 2006. Lukas moves to Spain. Today Lukas an Marit left for Spain. Steve had moved down the week before to make the house ready. I drove then to the airport through a blistering snowstorm, but everything went OK. Marit had a lot of baggage, but still managed to keek Lukas happy. Sunday, September 03, 2006. Lukas to meet his new cousin. Marit and Lukas came back to visit his new cousin. They spent august 26 - 30 in Oslo, most of the time with Lea, Mette and Pål. Here is a picture Lea and Lukas together with their mommies. Lukas has developed fast since we saw him 4 weeks ago. He is still very active, but now also very moveable. He crawls on the floor, and manages also to raise himself to his feet. Here he is standing only with a little help from Turid. Links to this post.

Saturday, April 29, 2006. A happy Easter and some more. We had a very nice easter with Mette and Paal. And Lukas loved that there were more people around that played and cuddled with him. This week Lukas and Iwent to Granada to visit Monica and Max. Granada is the place that made me fall in love in Spain and kind of where everything started in 1995. So we closed a circle there. This blog is mainly about my grandson Lukas born at Ullevål Hospital december 9, 2005, by my daughter Marit Aarø from Oslo, Norway, and her huband Steve Blank from New Jersey, US. Lukas was 50 cm and 3,14 kilo when born. Marit had å tough birth with 18 hours in labour, but everything went OK. Lukas is a wellshaped baby with a lot of hair. Turid and I saw him for the first time at Hospital Hotel in the morning of dec. 10, and this picture is taken at that time. Lukas - 3 year.

Wednesday, March 15, 2006. Lukas in the water for the first time! This weekend is was warm and lovely in Tarfia, we went to the beach and Lukas put his little feet in the water. Tuesday, July 25, 2006. Summer in Norway and 7 months. What a summer in Norway! Sun and warm weather every day -for 6 weeks! And finally Lukas and Mormor could cuddle again. We went for a nice drive around Norway and visited some of our most beautiful and longest fjords; Sognefjorden, Geirangerfjorden and Nærøyfjorden (on UNESCO's world heritage list). Lukas was really happy my cousin Ingrid joined us for five days. Perfect company in the backseat and she sang songs for him whenever he got bored. Congrat...

Saturday, June 17, 2006. Bill and Judy's visit to Tarifa. What a wonderful visit! We swam in the sea, enjoyed the sun, walked with Lukas on every street in Tarifa, partied at friend, Juan's, house, we were introduced to rock climbing as spectators, ate wonderful food, relaxed, and most of all enjoyed being with Steven, Marit, and Lukas. Sunday, May 28, 2006. The family went to Ronda and visited the region of the bandits and bullfighters. A beautiful, suprisingly big city in the mountains of Andalucia. Lukas still has very blue eyes!
