Insurance Claims and Valuations. Diamonds can break, chains may snap and precious metals will scratch so show a little love and care for your jewellery. Gold and platinum are hardy metals, which should be able to withstand most of the rigours of normal daily use. However even with normal wear they will scratch and dent and with hard wear may misshape. They can be polished with a soft cloth but I don’t recommend a silver polish cloth as they generally contain abrasive powder. How do you stop it oxidising?

As my blogging journey continued, I realised that both interiors and curating the stories of people's lives through their collections is one of my passions - and I thought I might like to open an online shop - it's what I meant by number 19 on the 101 list. Instead, life intervened, and a visit to Chelsea Flower Show in May 2012 kickstarted an adventure that led to the opening of the real life Covet and Collect shop on October 26, 2012. 101 things in 1001 days. Friday, 15 November 2013. Friday flowers: day molefe at the table. We're about to slide into what the papers are saying will be the coldest British winter on record. Which is also pretty much what they said last winter, and the one before. Global warming needs a new name since its current moniker is a cruel taunt as it's mostly freezing! Which pretty much describes that whole weekend - long walks, best friends, lots of laughs, wine, puppy dog cuddles and birthday cake.

The supernieces' well timed visit meant I had a hand in creating this week's seasonal floral display at our local hairdresser - two little hands in fact, that were superbly adept at squashing in the gourds and moss around the first Amaryllis of the season, alongside leucadendron safari sunset and the upright curls of golden salix that provided just the right level of witchiness.
