I had the opportunity to speak at UCLA for a youth program focused on bringing people together from all over the world to better understand each other and be leaders in their nation. Saturday, March 29, 2008. Service Lesson- Open Eyes, Open Hearts and Make a Difference. Wow it has been awhile since my last blog and to be honest, it has been a crazy few months. I have been spending tons of time with my family and helping support as my step-dad and family. My step-dad Frank was fighting bone cancer for almost a year and the fight is finally over. This Sunday we are having a memorial for him and he will forever be loved. Cards for Kids With Cancer. Loma Linda University Medical Center.

Wednesday, August 20, 2008. Summer Fun and Back to School Activity. Summer was absolutely wonderful. I know I saw many of you at NASC ( http:/ www.nasc.us/s nasc/index.asp. In Texas which was amazing. Trent and Myles (in the picture) were wonderful to work with and they did a great job hosting the conference. This year I had the opportunity to be a “Spotlight Speaker” and I met Josh Sunquist who is a great speaker and young man. They have a wonderful program and dedicated teachers that work with them.

I had the opportuinty to be a "show case" speaker and was sponsored by Herff Jones to lead two keynotes with about 400 student leaders in each group.
