Sunday, June 29, 2014. A large part of the week was spent working our our movie project with our homeschool group. Kessiah and Jenessa wrote the script and last week was devoted to filming and editing. It was a busy week.I could tell the kids were more tired than usual! Life at Whit's End. Sunday, April 26, 2015. It doesn't seem possible, but Shenna's first year of college is quickly coming to an end. She has one more week of finals, and then she'll come home for the summer. Before finals, though, she had her spring concert with the choir. She decided to audition for the choir -named Arise- when she first started school. We were so happy when she got in! She has had a lot of fun with this choir. They've been able to perform at many different things throughout the year.

Life at Whit's End. Sunday, March 22, 2015. This Saturday was the junior prom at the high school. Kiera was excited to go. We had a lot of fun dress shopping. We took pictures of Kiera in all the dresses she tried on and sent them to Shenna for her opinion. It was funny how she picked the exact one that we ended up purchasing! Shenna was lucky that her spring break started this weekend. She was able to come home and help Kiera get ready. It was fun for me to watch those two having so much fun together!

I haven't done any theatre for quite awhile, and I really haven't done any shows without at least one other person from my family being in it with me, so getting to play the part of "Maw" in this little one-act play was a bit different for me. Maw and her sister Clementine are always thinking up schemes and putting their matchmaking skills to work on the unsuspecting Roscoe. Maw is really not pleased that sister "Sissy" always seems to try and settle things.
