Tuesday, May 29, 2012. As if a broken bone wasn't enough excitement for our family for a week, I got to experience my own ER visit and hospital stay Memorial Day weekend. After being reassured that the baby was fine, I was transferred to the hematology/oncology floor about 3:00 am I received my first shot of Lovenox at 4:00 am It burned like crazy! Tuesday, February 26, 2013. I have had my last radiation treatment. After 36 trips to the hospital, I was definitely ready to be through! Does this really mean that this thing is over? No more chemo or radiation or cancer, ever? I certainly hope so! I'm sure there will be battles and mountaintops and valleys ahead for each of us, but this is a huge accomplishment! February 20, 2013. The sun is finally shining now. She will have a blast, but she'll have to learn routines and how to share with friends....
