Leah's Travels: SkumpaPoolen! Fraser Island
http://whereisleah.blogspot.com/2009/03/skumpapoolen-fraser-island.html
The official propaganda mechanism for Leah in transit. Saturday, March 14, 2009. I have a feeling I’m going to be repeating a similar version of this line a lot through my travels, but I’ll say it anyways: Fraser Island. Has been my favorite place so far in Australia. The trip itself reminded me of why I travel, why I'm alive and what happiness means to me. It was also a refresher of how endless short periods of time can be if one chooses to make the most of it. Sorry Linds, had to throw it in there :).

Leah's Travels: February 2009
http://whereisleah.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
The official propaganda mechanism for Leah in transit. Thursday, February 12, 2009. Last Tuesday marks two weeks since I’ve worked last. Funny, that also happens to be the last time I wrote in my blog. Ironic, how as soon as I put something down in words, the opposite happens. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Where I Be At? Leah's Travels: November 2008
http://whereisleah.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
The official propaganda mechanism for Leah in transit. Friday, November 28, 2008. I've been seeing the bird on our veranda (or in our kitchen, sometimes) just about every other day. He meows like a cat. I haven't been updating lately for a number of reasons. Mostly, I've been busy and the Internet has been awful. It's better now, and I give you the promise of a brighter future to come. Thursday, November 13, 2008. I was walking down the sidewalk yesterday and heard a large THUMP next to me. That night, I...

Leah's Travels: July 2008
http://whereisleah.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
The official propaganda mechanism for Leah in transit. Wednesday, July 30, 2008. Principal→ Korean staff leaders (such as nurses) → English leader (Jos) → English teachers→ Campers. When it comes down to things that need to be done, this chain cannot be broken. For instance, an English teacher may not report a problem to the principal. Instead, it should be reported to the English leader, who relays the information to Korean staff leaders and the Principal. The same goes the other way around. PA: Yes, bu...

Leah's Travels: December 2008
http://whereisleah.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
The official propaganda mechanism for Leah in transit. Monday, December 22, 2008. This is going to be a short post, considering my eyes can't handle staring at a computer (or anything, for that matter) for very long. My eyes have been hurting all week, although they didn't get bad until Saturday morning just before I was to go to NEVEREVERLAND. He asked. It took me awhile to convince him that I had a condition and was, in fact, sober. Booked acts (particularly Muscles! So that's the update, for now.

Leah's Travels: May 2009
http://whereisleah.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
The official propaganda mechanism for Leah in transit. Tuesday, May 26, 2009. Hasta luego, Brisbane! The view from our apartment balcony:. I'll be leaving for the Whitsunday Islands. Ironic, but true. Dinner with friends tonight made me realize how much I'll miss Brisbane. I've met so many fun-loving, down-to-earth, beautiful, expressive people that seem to burst with love through every pore of their bodies. I've learned a lot. I think I've changed a lot too. Maybe it was the moment when I knew everythin...

The official propaganda mechanism for Leah in transit. Wednesday, January 28, 2009. I haven't written and I apologize for that. I've been working. And when I haven't been working, I've been traveling. And when I haven't been traveling, I've been soaking in Brisbane. And when I haven't been soaking in Brisbane, well.it's hard to sit down and write with so many people around. And where have I been? A few days before Obama's Inauguration (! And Queen Victoria Markets. From Geelong to the Twelve Apostles (ab...

Leah's Travels: August 2008
http://whereisleah.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
The official propaganda mechanism for Leah in transit. Wednesday, August 27, 2008. Although I returned to Detroit on the 24th, I'll try to recap Japan, Seoul and the DMZ the best I can. Let's start with Japan. All of the staff were really excited to have people to practice their English with and took turns walking into our room to ask us questions. Our waiter made us balloon animals and wrote our names with Japanese sayings. You left this on the table," he huffed as he handed us our $1.25. He must have l...

Leah's Travels: Woodford Folk Festival
http://whereisleah.blogspot.com/2009/01/woodford-folk-festival.html
The official propaganda mechanism for Leah in transit. Monday, January 5, 2009. Taken at sunrise (just before 5 AM) upon a giant hill at Woodford on New Years Day:. In the distance are the Glass House Mountains. If you are wondering if that's a viking up close, you are absolutely 100% correct. Sometimes, it's best not to ask questions. Really, amazing), Kate Miller-Heidke. I noticed many of the local performers always seemed to incorporate one of my favorite instruments, the didgeridoo. On New Years Eve,...
