Steve Huston's Networked Programming Blog. Laquo; Analysis of ACE Proactor Shortcomings on UNIX. Things I Like About Working on Apache Qpid. USB pass-thru in RHEL 5 Xen VM doesn’t work; why do I buy support? And that’s when the trouble started…. Saying it wouldn’t work right. But I forged on, confident that even if it didn’t work “out of the box” I had purchased support from Red Hat and could get any help I needed. Well, long story short, the USB device didn’t pass through correctly from Xen. O...Well, I...

Here is my trusty camp site! Well I pulled it off and I have to say that was the fastest I have ever fixed anything I think. But hey i’m getting there, one day I will be able to leave right after work with everything in tow. Even my tool roll has everything for trail side repairs now, so I am close! I’m usually good but with the husky and trailer garaged so far from me I tend to not find a lot of time during the week to take care of it. What do you leave for last second on a ride? Has Your Motorcycle Ever Blown Over In The Wind? – Motorcycle Touring Pro

Learn to Conduct the Motorcycle Tour of Your Dreams! Has Your Motorcycle Ever Blown Over In The Wind? Has this ever happened to you? Has your motorcycle ever fallen over in the wind? My theory is that is likely takes a huge amount of wind to actually blow a motorcycle over. And how easily your bike blows over probably has a lot to do with how you parked the bike, the direction of the wind, the weight of your bike, and whether or not the bike is covered or not. What ARE they looking at? While looking through photos, I happened upon this one taken of Pimmie and I up on Grimselpass in Switzerland. I have no idea what we were looking at, or why it was so captivating that both of us were locked in our gaze so deeply that we didn’t notice the attacking dinosaur. Perhaps we were simply reflecting on how lucky we were to be riding around this stuff:. Filed under: road trip. And now we are dirty again……. – 29 of 29. Well we made it! Can you do 29 in 29? New Riders and New Steeds. Meet the farm bear and his new ride! What do you think of these things? I rode it a bit and it’s like riding a snowmobile, it is a lot of fun. It has it’s place in the community in my opinion and I can’t wait to go on some longer trips with the guy. Two wheels though will forever be my speed. Filed under: Long Island. I rode to work in the blistering heat on wednesday since my car was in the shop. Little did I know that my new job has some motorcycle only parking. And it looks like I had all the spaces and the shade to myself. I felt rather special having my own private spaces today. Almost like the CEO of the company, or employee of the month! It makes me feel good to see that motorcycles get a little bit of respect for the space they can save here in NY. You don’t see it very often…. Filed under: General Junk. As Gl...
