Tired of living through others' blogs, here are my words. Saturday, June 28, 2008. So here's our first cucumber for the summer harvest. Actually it's the only vegetable that has presented itself so far. The other plants (tomatoes, peppers, squash) all look big and healthy, but nothing edible yet. Kind of cute, no? Not buying that farm yet though! Would you snitch on grandma? I know the pictures aren't of the best quality (I was trying to be discreet), but our neighbor is. I know she's like 80, but come on.

This is Ting Country. I am spending ten months doing research in Yunnan Province, China. Tuesday, April 21, 2009. Just wanted to write a quick update. Transitions, transitions. They are truly difficult. I don't feel the same as I did two posts ago. Now that I'm about to leave Kunming (for what? Not sure yet, but I'm 95% sure I'm leaving China), I love it. The life here is so easy, so amazing! An apartment to myself for less than two hundred a month, etc etc. Complaining about it often? Leave No, seriously.
