This is Ting Country. I am spending ten months doing research in Yunnan Province, China. Friday, January 12, 2007. I have been a bit too tired to update, and I apologize! Here is a short one. Sometimes, I try to give back as well. It's worth it to see the smile on a person's face, to just get along with people instead of glaring at them (which is what I am usually doing, be it on my bike - biking is a dangerous mode of transportation here! This is Ting Country. I am spending ten months doing research in Yunnan Province, China. Tuesday, December 30, 2008. And I will have been here for . two years and three months? Wow how time passes! I actually didn't have that much to say. Just wanted to let people know that I am yes, still alive, and will be here until May. Crazy uphill but a great view of Kunming at the top. This is Ting Country. I am spending ten months doing research in Yunnan Province, China. Friday, June 01, 2007. Buyi women and trash collecting. I have so much to write about… I still need to play catch-up but, for now, I absolutely need to write about Tuesday afternoon and night. Here is a video that I uploaded myself onto Youtube. This is Ting Country. I am spending ten months doing research in Yunnan Province, China. Tuesday, April 21, 2009. Just wanted to write a quick update. Transitions, transitions. They are truly difficult. I don't feel the same as I did two posts ago. Now that I'm about to leave Kunming (for what? Not sure yet, but I'm 95% sure I'm leaving China), I love it. The life here is so easy, so amazing! An apartment to myself for less than two hundred a month, etc etc. Complaining about it often? Leave No, seriously.
