Monday, December 10, 2007. Today I am sad. This morning I allowed myself to cry. Over the last few days I have heard about 3 different children battling cancer who have received bad news. All three have been told that their cancer is no longer curable. Two of the children are boys who were diagnosed with the same brain tumor as Elias - medulloblastoma. The other child is a girl who has leukemia. I believe in the power of prayer and know that there are many people who are praying for Elias. I know God...

If you are the parent of a healthy child or children, like I was, you are probably not even aware of this "world". Even if you know about it peripherally, you don't really know. But, you know what? Tuesday, November 21, 2006. Elias's school honored Grandparents by inviting them to the school to visit their grandchild's classroom and eat lunch with them in the Cafeteria. Elias was fortunate enough to have three of his grandparents attend, along with his father, and Aunt and Uncle. Thanks to Granny, we have pictures of the event!
