Beautiful chaos. I wouldn't want to predict or control it at all, but I love to document it! Thursday, 23 July 2015. DAY 2 on the Road to Nova Scotia. Peace River, AB to Leduc, AB (515.2 km). 15243 km in total from Yellowknife. We "slept in" a bit, and hit the road. We had a very important reason to arrive in Leduc early in the afternoon. Well, two reasons. One, Stella's lazagna. Two, ROAR! I was so excited to see The Lion King, and to take the girls! How late IS it? Our Day 2 map. Nova Scotia or Bust.

Beautiful chaos. I wouldn't want to predict or control it at all, but I love to document it! Saturday, 23 July 2011. The House to Become a Home. Well, I'm bucking against my natural inclination to hold off posting pictures until our furniture is in the new house, thereby making it officially our new home. I know some of you are anxious to see the inside of the house. I know we were! Well, good things come to those who wait, and this house is just PERFECT for us. We are so fortunate. In this picture, I'm ...

Beautiful chaos. I wouldn't want to predict or control it at all, but I love to document it! Wednesday, 31 August 2011. Ponies, Play Dough, Kitchen and Books. Today was the girls' first full day of school. And, I'm happy to report. I survived. Barely. But, I survived. Last night, I was a basket case. I did not see this coming. I've been a Kindergarten teacher for years. I think it was easier doing this as a Kindergarten teacher because I already knew the teacher those kids were going to get:. His daily w...

Beautiful chaos. I wouldn't want to predict or control it at all, but I love to document it! Friday, 22 June 2012. We Love Daddy, and Daddy Loves Fish. This is Daddy's Father's Day gift from the girls. I set up the picture and snapped it the weekend while he was fishing with Uncle Emerson and Grampa. The girls kept it tip top secret. We made it using the wicked angle of the Northern sun, the girls cute bare feet, and these fun foam letters. My cousin, Lena, spotted the idea on Pinterest. Daddy found a go...
