Learning Instructional Design: September 2007
http://learningid.blogspot.com/2007_09_01_archive.html
This blog is created for a class "Principles of Instructional Design". Wednesday, September 19, 2007. An interesting learner I've known. It was my first interesting experience of understanding how differently younger and older people are learning. This understanding caught me when I, being 30 years old, decided to take one not required and very intensive undergraduate level English language class for beginners. Most of masters students were frustrated with the teacher and created “a group” th...To learn ...
Learning Instructional Design: learner assessment/authentic assessment
http://learningid.blogspot.com/2007/11/learner-assessmentauthentic-assessment.html
This blog is created for a class "Principles of Instructional Design". Tuesday, November 20, 2007. While doing readings about the assessment of the learner several things struck me. One was about the authenticity of assessment. As one that measures outcome that was originally represented in objective. Many kinds/forms of assessment. Shared role of the assessor. Appropriate use of thoughtfully designed self-assessment, peer-assessment) could help. Anyway it looks as a dounting task for instructional desin...
Learning Instructional Design: October 2007

It was really hard for me to come up with an example, I don’t know why, maybe because being so immersed in the concept of Instructional Design as process of development of the effective and efficient instruction I couldn’t find the better example of the Instructional design product as the instruction. 3 It is not necessary a linear process. 5 It has time and budget constrains.
Learning Instructional Design: November 2007
http://learningid.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html
This blog is created for a class "Principles of Instructional Design". Tuesday, November 20, 2007. Learner assessment/criterion based assessment. I just was struck by the Bloom’s idea too that “normal curve” of students’ score occurs when here. Aren’t any instructional intervention. When students learn material. Totally on their own. Is the only factors. So an infrence would be that we do have to seek to design a GOOD instruction and that about ALL studnets can succeed! Corrective, reinforcing and explan...
Learning Instructional Design: What have I learned....
http://learningid.blogspot.com/2007/12/actually-before-having-this-class-i.html
This blog is created for a class "Principles of Instructional Design". Sunday, December 2, 2007. What have I learned. So this class “gave” me not only new knowledge, experience and skills but open a new world for me :). When I had a need - to contextualize some not clear theoretical underspinings given in our text book, to have broader view before completing a step of ID project, to satisfy curiosity, etc. It means that I really got the basics in instructional design and now I can move on my own further.

Monday, December 30, 2013. Passion Driven Classroom Book Review - Or Is It "Ideas to Apply KM in your org". In 2011, Angela Maiers and Amy Sandvold published “The Passion Driven Classroom”. I immediately heard great things and 2 years later I had the opportunity to read it – what a great book. Awesome [to see worlds combine]! Here’s where it gets great. The first tactical example is to create a “Resident Expert” wall. A list of your students and what they do well. KM would c...She then shares her “...

Learning Ideas | Thoughts on Adult Learning
Thoughts on Adult Learning. The Future of Training & Development. January 30, 2009. Posted by sallyboyd in Learning Management. This week I had the opportunity to hear Bob Pike speak in a group of less than one hundred. The form of the event was a fire-side chat and the topic was Top 10 Questions Trainers Ask. Instead of making it a presentation the Trainer’s Trainer made it an open discussion. He gave each group a chance to come up with a couple of burning questions and then answered most of them. The k...
