A Compound of Alchymie. Laquo; Wise Words and Bad Analogies. Green Learning ». The local government sector currently spends in the region of 300 million annually on training and it is estimated that by 2008 over 50 per cent of learning in the UK will be done electronically or on the internet. Web design, e-learning and Web 2.0 (Learning 2.0, Library 2.0). Posted February 3, 2012. I don’t use this WordPress blog very often, since I finished the e-learning training that caused me to create it as a stash for research links, etc. However, I gather Blogger has an ever-shrinking percentage of the market, and lots of people have migrated. So this is just a test post to see if it is possible to access and edit WordPress blogs from the public library internet access. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Anon t...

A Compound of Alchymie: e-learning

A Compound of Alchymie. Recently I was at an event going through the business case for e-learning, and comparing a typical classroom event with an online programme and the following thought struck me:. E-learning is the greenest form of learning'. This ties in nicely with the cool book I bought recently: 'I Count; Your step-by-step guide to climate bliss'. Buy it and help save the planet.(and do some e-learning too). Posted on November 02, 2006 at 02:40 PM in e-learning. Real Learners at a Virtual College.

Web design, e-learning and Web 2.0 (Learning 2.0, Library 2.0). Posted September 6, 2011. Although I have spent over a decade supporting computer use for both staff and public in the Cardiff Library service, I have never become part of the ICT team. I found myself a niche role as a go-between. This also allowed me to work very flexibly, both in terms of working hours, and prioritising my own work, with relatively little line management. Web design, e-learning and Web 2.0 (Learning 2.0, Library 2.0). I decided to pull the links to my own creative writing attempts from the front page, to keep this site dedicated to the learning process – although, of course, I am learning by doing, so will attempt to describe the adventures in the Posts. 8211; listed on. Web design, e-learning and Web 2.0 (Learning 2.0, Library 2.0). Posted February 6, 2010. Filed under: How and Why. This blog got a bit gap-toothed, but it isn’t actually dead in the water and drifting…. I still like my little collection of links – although I ought to check them all again, soon. For library work I have more regularly posted as Anon of Ibid. Amongst other places online that I hang out. What prompted this visit was a longish article in the current issue of .Net. 8211; about Word Press….

Grrr – but ah, what’s this? Powerpoint Producer? | Toby Philpott

Web design, e-learning and Web 2.0 (Learning 2.0, Library 2.0). Grrr – but ah, what’s this? Posted September 29, 2009. Filed under: How and Why. I have become a bit frustrated in the last couple of days, as the plasma display screens we have run on Linux, which doesn’t like a lot of Microsoft products, so we can’t use (say) Powerpoint to produce a livelier display. However, in the process of digging around I found the free add-on to Powerpoint, called Producer. Laquo; More fun to come! Toby's Tutor ...
