Learning to Appreciate the Journey: October 2013

http://learningtoappreciatethejourney.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html

Learning to Appreciate the Journey. My Adventures in Fertility, Foster Care and Beyond. Friday, October 11, 2013. Feeling blah today. I went to to a playgroup this morning and just didn't feel connected to anyone. I felt like my quietest, most introverted self. I didn't speak up to join in conversations, just mostly sat and somewhat listened. Tuesday, October 1, 2013. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Picture Window template. Learning to Appreciate the Journey. My Adventures in Fertility, Foster Care and Beyond. Monday, March 9, 2015. I've planned many positive, hopeful blogs in my head over the past few months, but never got any of them written down. Then my life was turned upside down and all those shiny, happy thoughts went out the window. Oh goodness, Jenny! March 22, 2015 at 4:06 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Learning to Appreciate the Journey: November 2014

http://learningtoappreciatethejourney.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html

Learning to Appreciate the Journey. My Adventures in Fertility, Foster Care and Beyond. Saturday, November 29, 2014. It's been almost three weeks since my surgery. The actual procedure went smoothly, no complications. When my doctor came to speak with me right before the actual surgery, she asked what I would want her to do if when she got in there, she found my right tube to be damaged as well. Did we want her to take that one too? Sunday, November 9, 2014. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Learning To Abandon

Friday, May 29, 2015. We've said so many goodbyes since then. Frequently, during college, I would pull away after a weekend at home to her crying on the driveway. Many, many drives back to school were spent shredding apart my heart- figuring out how I could practically love my little sisters from hard places while living a full life 200 miles away. Present in absence. I'm still learning a lot. Friday, February 27, 2015. In the Bounds of Your Home. Of course having a revolving door snatched away a little ...

Learning to Appreciate the Journey

Learning to Appreciate the Journey. My Adventures in Fertility, Foster Care and Beyond. Friday, April 17, 2015. Beginning to see the light. Things are finally starting to calm down. We have been in crisis mode for the past couple of months and it was wearing on us terribly. I was super irritable all the time, Payton's default mode was meltdown. But this week, we are finally seeing some improvements. Not quite back to normal yet, but it gives me hope for the future. I just wanted her to feel safe and loved.
