Teck's Treehouse: Keeping training relevant
http://teck78.blogspot.com/2015/04/keeping-training-relevant.html
Ramblings of an ex-computer geek. Games from the late 80s and 90s. Linux and open source software. Saturday, April 25, 2015. Someone said that training should be relevant to what we need to do. I can't agree more. But that same person said that he would be satisfied if the training system is one step behind the current system, although the truth is that it is usually two or three steps behind. It doesn't make sense. How can training be relevant, if it is one or more steps behind the current system?

Teck's Treehouse: A new start
http://teck78.blogspot.com/2015/07/a-new-start.html
Ramblings of an ex-computer geek. Games from the late 80s and 90s. Linux and open source software. Wednesday, July 01, 2015. After 18 years of being in the navy, today is the start of something new. No more conning ships. No more working with the wonderful people in the navy. But an end is also a beginning.

Teck's Treehouse: Value is relative
http://teck78.blogspot.com/2015/06/value-is-relative.html
Ramblings of an ex-computer geek. Games from the late 80s and 90s. Linux and open source software. Sunday, June 28, 2015. In a world where everyone farms, being able to do something different that people needs is valuable. And the less people who can do this and the more needed the skill, the more valuable it is. Because value is relative. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Learning to Fish in Singapore. Second Life Official Site. The Games of my Life. Goodbye, navy family! Subscribe Now: Feed Icon.
