Christmas in our Dining Room. It is looking like Christmas at our home and today I am sharing our dining room. I adore my white dishes and keep this black pine Mennonite cabinet (and our kitchen cupboard and buffet and hutch) filled with many pieces. Crocheted and vintage linens are also things I love to collect, so little bits show up in most of my photos. The little star hanging on the knob is made of battenburg textile and I added some pinecones and aromatic cedar to the cabinet. DIY Brick Patio-the b...

Photo Editing with Picasa and Picnik. I usually use Picasa to edit my photos before I post them. I admit that I don't spend a lot of time on editing because I often just have enough time to pull a post together after work. But when I have extra time I love playing with Picasa and Picnik. I was inspired today by Sarah at Thrifty Decor Chick. To try a few new techinques. The same photo cropped a bit more in Picasa and with Boost applied in Picnik. More cropping and a bit more Boost. Thanks for stopping by!

Christmas Dining Room Table Vignette | Learning with Impact

http://learningwithimpact.blogspot.com/2011/11/christmas-dining-room-table-vignette.html

Christmas Dining Room Table Vignette. I had fun styling our dining table for the Christmas season. For Christmas decorating this year in our dining room and living room I am using whites, creams, browns and tans, silver and shades of blue, mixing natural elements with shiny and sparkly. These colours, along with black, are the colours we have throughout our home all year. For a focal point on our dining room pine farmhouse table I started with a plank of rough sawn solid cherry. A vintage Crown mason jar.

Encouraging discourse about science education and more. January 26, 2010 by Kathryn. Class periods at my school are either 44 minutes long on a regular day or 38 minutes on a short day – every Wednesday. I feel so time crunched! Students pick up on a teacher’s mood, actions, habits, etc. almost immediately. I need to find a way to be more relaxed about the time pressure so that I can better help them to relax and enjoy science. Posted in Teaching Biology. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Tuesday, March 17, 2009. Which whiteboard to choose? There are so many different brands of whiteboards out there. And it seems that these are gaining all kinds of steam around here. Plus there sounds like there could be more money flowing into our schools through the Microsoft settlement and the stimulus package that could increase the demand for this technology. Of all the other brands out there, does anyone have one they like better than these two, why? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Educational T...
