Leastbest's Poker Blog. Just a retired guy playing poker. Medina Poker League Championship. On June 11, 2013. The Medina Poker League is a strange group. You only get 2500 chips and the blind structure is very fast. It is essentially a turbo tournament structure. The first couple times there I had a hard time. It didn’t take long before I figured it out and started cashing regularly. Plus after the game is a sweet cash game. Very enjoyable. I understand the format now and plan on winning it next year.
