Recently we underwent some chaos around the house, no electricity for a few weeks. Well one of the items to bite the dust was the TV. There were some others too, but that is the big ticket item. Lucas is going on 2 years now since his burn, which means the kids have been home for 2 years as well. WOW, 2 years! Keeping him quiet in the car. We just adopted our first child from Ethiopia. Friday, June 30, 2006. I Meant to Do That. We have been in our home for four years and to be quite honest our neighbors are not friendly. When I met our next door neighbor on the right for the first time it was only because the telephone company accidently disconnected her service and she needed a phone. When we returned today, I discovered his toys had been delivered so I rushed downstairs to the garage to announce he had a couple of gifts upstairs. He ran upstairs and looked at the boxes and his eyes danced with excitement. As we opened them, he screamed "Thomas! I have started working on my second knitting project. Working without a pattern (uh-oh! Well, I had a bit of a run-in with a pair of his sweatpants that I attempted to hem and well let's just say they were slightly irregular to begin with so the legs were slightly uneven and then the dryer caused them to shrink a little and now they resemble capri pants!
