So, tonight was the Christmas party at the church, and Ty was super duper excited because Santa was scheduled to make an appearance. Little did we know that he would show up in an old fashioned fire truck. I guess because almost all of the snow has melted here in Boise, he needed alternate transportation. He loaded the kids up in the back of the truck and took them for a little ride! Santa lifting Ty up into the truck!

Sunday, August 21, 2011. The first day of 3rd grade! Kody is at a new school this year and is loving it. He has a great teacher and is making so many new friends! Her name is Kinley and we just love her. She is so sweet and lovable! Swinging on a tire swing! The boys have been wanting one ever since we bought our house and found a tire out back. They found the best tree for it and were so excited when daddy finally got some rope to hang it up. Oh the hours of fun that they will have! What could be better!

Tuesday, August 2, 2011. Just to warn you there are a ton of pictures so just keep on scrolling! Happy 4th of July! We did our own little firework show a couple nights before the 4th cause Garrett had to work. It was fun doing sparklers with Meema! Logan's and Ty's Adventures. A tale of two brothers. Friday, December 10, 2010. I am making one of my favorite cookies today, and I thought I would share the recipe. Most of you have probably already heard of these, but just in case you haven't. YUMMO! 1 1/2 C. Brown Sugar. 2 Tbsp. Water. Melt in saucepan over medium heat until melted. Then add. 2 C Semi sweet chocolate chips. Take off heat and stir until completely melted. Let cool for 10-15 minutes and then add:. Beat Well. then add. 2 1/2 C. Flour.
