At the end of last term Mark Olejnik, who teaches History to Year 7 as well as being Head of d'Overbroeck's Leckford Place, set his students a little summer homework - to build a model of a motte-and-bailey castle over the holidays. Leckhampstead Village
Ampstead is a charm. Ge set in the beautiful rural surroundings of North Buckinghamshire. Its name is taken from the River Leck, which r. Uns through the village and is a tributary of the River Great Ouse. A sympathetic mix of historic and more modern homes and farms has helped to maintain the unspoilt character of the area.
