Accomodation at Leconfield; a unique experience! Don't worry if you're not able to bring a sleeping bag, because we have plenty of blankets and pillows for you. Three, hearty, rich meals a day will be freshly cooked on the spot and there is unlimited bread and toppings available for any cravings you might have in between meals. We now have exciting new accommodations for couples or families! The Leconfield school bus will pick you up on Monday mornings and drop you off at Tamworth on Friday evening.

Meet the Staff

Tim was born and raised on Leconfield, which has been in the Skerrett family for four generations. Since its founding in 1914, the property has grown to nearly 6,000 acres. Tim has been riding horses since he was five years old and began breaking in horses at the age of seventeen. He later went on to work in outback Queensland with cattle, sheep, and working dogs.

Here at Leconfield we cater for High School excursions and groups. We have had school groups here in the past and they have found it very educational and a lot of fun. The program we offer encourages team work, understanding and a bonding relationship with horses as students learn Natural Horsemanship techniques. We also give the students the opportunity to learn many of the traditional bush skills that were used on Australian farms.

Kippen overleefd, hoewel ze rauwe tenen erg lekker vinden! Maar inmiddels ben ik in Bermagui. Met zus en zwager. Heeeel mooi, blauwe zee, blauwe lucht en nog wat blauwe plekken van de farm.
