I mean it was no 100 meter dash or anything, but he took his first steps. Then he did it over and over a few more times. The best part about it? My mom and I were freaking out! BeBe got to see it! Lord, thank you for our feet. Thank you for fearfully and wonderfully making us so that as Your children - we can WALK by faith.". And he's pulling up.

That is what I said about having a blog when people would ask me. -.and it was probably followed by something like, " are you kidding me? Hopefully over the next few days I will begin to post some pictures. Hollis is almost 8 months old! So hard to believe. Walter and I are so in love with our sweet son and he brings so much joy to our lives! I will now sign off.bid farewell to my inaugural blog post. Uh ohwere in trouble.

Wednesday, March 17, 2010. Uh ohwe're in trouble. I put Hollis in his bed to play for a few minutes while the cleaning people were cleaning the floors and this is what I walked in on. :). And he's pulling up. So much has happened since my last post. This past Friday, Hollis pulled to stand and went from crawling to sitting up (I didn't see him to it, but it happened! Tuesday, March 9, 2010. Hollis looking too cool in his shades right before our walk today. Thank you William for the shades!

Monday, October 31, 2011. From the cutest cheerleader and ladybug around! Saturday, October 29, 2011. While visiting with family in Odessa we took a fun trip to Fiddlesticks Farm. The morning was quite brisk, but it didn’t keep us from enjoying the fun hayride, pumpkin patch, cow train, giant slide, trampoline, cow milking demonstration, piglet races, goat watching and cow petting. (really, whose fall would be complete without a good piglet race? Warning…picture heavy post! Happy Fall y’all!

Sunday, November 27, 2011. We loved the beach! Thank you Carol and Jerry for having us for the holiday. We loved spending it with you. She ran back and forth from the sand to the ocean…her feet hardly touched the ground. Tummy flops in the surf. After a slow start to warm up to the sand, Lauren eventually decided she loved all things beachy. She loved to try and catch the waves in her hands. The only proof that I was also there….
