Rag and Bone: Traditional Love
http://shopoftheheart.blogspot.com/2010/07/traditional-love.html
Welcome to the foul rag and bone shop of the heart. Monday, July 12, 2010. In my entanglements with the internet, I sometimes get asked to do some pretty terrible stuff. Like explain to people why they can't write about their private parts on the internet or call out death threats against their ex husbands. At least not on the web site I work for. Please. But I also get asked to do some pretty awesome stuff, like start a blog. You can read one of my posts here. Another blog for me to read :-) Congrats.

Welcome to the foul rag and bone shop of the heart. Tuesday, September 28, 2010. Turning Into A Mommy Blog. There has been a reason for the silence echoing around here. It's because I've been trying to keep a secret. A big fat secret. And my inability to lie is legendary. Children and old men still tell the tales of the numerous Christmases I've ruined. I also included a picture of me getting fat, because I know the internet wants to see this. I know just know it. Links to this post. Iowa, United States.

Rag and Bone: June 2010
http://shopoftheheart.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Welcome to the foul rag and bone shop of the heart. Wednesday, June 23, 2010. Dave and I just came back from a trip to El Salvador. We were working with a non-profit to build a well and teach the villagers hygiene. Every adjective I can think of to describe the experience sounds like a cliche. But I'm not the same person. Mainly because I know more Spanish and I know how to use a tortilla instead of forks. That's my new motto: No Forks 2010! Links to this post. Tuesday, June 8, 2010. Links to this post.

Welcome to the foul rag and bone shop of the heart. Thursday, February 11, 2010. When I was 7, I wrote this joke in my journal. Q: What did the book worm say to the librarian? Dig me out of here! It began with Elsie Dinsmore. After Elsie, my mom gave me Treasures of the Snow. I began my family feuds. 8221; I would tell her. “Don’t you want to read? Later when we realized her problem, a problem she hadn’t been able to articulate before, because when you grow up seeing the world replicated and swimmi...

Musings on Motherhood, Ministry, and Maturation. March 15, 2009. Vacation: More work than it is worth? 8212; amywidener @ 5:51 pm. My mother is coming to town in a few days and we are heading to Sharm El Sheik. A few days rest at the Red Sea is a great thing and time with my mother is even better BUT man is it a lot of work to get everything in order so that life can move along smoothly in my absence. I need a rest from getting ready to have a rest! 3 Comments ». 8212; March 21, 2009 @ 8:13 am.

Welcome to the foul rag and bone shop of the heart. Monday, August 31, 2009. The Christian Culture Jam: The Irony! You may not know this, but I was home schooled. In Texas. With my seven siblings. Also, I had a purity ring. It's okay, you don't have to worry about me. I'm all better now. I voted for Obama. I remember back in 6th grade, when my parents bought my brother an A&F shirt. No, not Abercrombie &Fitch. Abreadcrumb and Fish. So, when I came across the blog Stuff Christian Culture Likes. In moderat...
