Sunday, October 5, 2014. The breathtaking Gurudongmar Lake (17500 ft) in North Sikkim. It is worth visiting though some people suffer at high altitude. We did not face any problem. Popcorn and ginger must have helped to overcome the altitude problem. Links to this post. All in the name of Development! This dam Dam will erase the memory of Chuntang, a small town at North Sikkim, forever! Is it a crime that their habitat is situated at the confluence of two rivers- Lachen River and Lachung River?
