SecEd German: Just feeling like blogging
http://germanteacher.blogspot.com/2004/09/just-feeling-like-blogging.html
Thursday, September 16, 2004. Just feeling like blogging. Parents were coming from. I wish I would have been a better kid." I think I was such a smart a* because I was bored and had to entertain myself (and consequently, others as well). My main fear is not being able to help the students have fun while they are learning. It isn't easy to do that, but I believe whole-heartedly that it is possible. Here's hoping. Posted by edoty at 10:39 AM. September 16, 2004 at 11:43 AM. View my complete profile.

Where The Sun Shines: September 2004
http://savannasue.blogspot.com/2004_09_01_archive.html
Where The Sun Shines. Little Savanna's Big Thoughts. Monday, September 27, 2004. Hey again Crazy A! I guess I'll go ahead and do some quick research on one of those newspaper programs and claim a wiki page for it. If you could figure out what Rick was talking about that sounds great and you could claim and outline a wiki page for that one before class if possible. Then we'll work together to actually finish the wiki pages. Thanks for the ideas Rick and Amy! Posted by Savanna Sue @ 1:10 PM. I guess we nee...

SecEd German: Lesson Plan Overview
http://germanteacher.blogspot.com/2004/11/lesson-plan-overview.html
Saturday, November 20, 2004. My proposed lesson plan is an oral report on a fake vacation the students will take to a city in Germany (the students choose which city). The focus is on the language used in the oral report (grammar/pronunciation). The reports will be 3-5 minutes long and must include the use of 1, but no more than 2, photoshopped pictures of the student "on vacation" in the city they are reporting on. Posted by edoty at 1:03 PM. Interesting. My blog is just about my day to day life, as...

SecEd German: Lesson Plan Overview
http://germanteacher.blogspot.com/2004/10/lesson-plan-overview.html
Tuesday, October 19, 2004. 1 My proposed lesson plan is called "Blind Date". The students will make a short video of themselves using the target language (German) to describe their best qualities to potential dates. 2 This assignment is best for second year German students, but can be used at the end of a first-year German course. The students must be able to describe, in complete German sentences, physical characteristics (hair/eye color, short/tall, etc.), hobbies, and personality traits.

SecEd German: Rules of Thumb
http://germanteacher.blogspot.com/2004/09/rules-of-thumb.html
Saturday, September 11, 2004. I did, in very deed, read the Roschelle and Jonassen articles. 1 Teachers should understand the subject-matter to be taught, as well as the technology/programs being used before they attempt teaching. 2 All projects (technology-based or not) should have real-world applications. Posted by edoty at 2:38 PM. I stick by my first two rules of thumb. I take my third rule from Mary - marpiece@blogger.com. September 11, 2004 at 2:50 PM. September 13, 2004 at 8:44 AM.
