Stamps Angler Fish ° Vampire Squid ° Chambered Nautilis. Angler FIsh update 3. Ive now added a omni light with a glow lens effect to give the fish its bioluminesence lure. To create the effect I first placed the omni light, then expanded the 'atmosphere and effects' modifier and clicked 'add'. I then chose 'Lens Effects' and clicked setup. I set the lens effect to 'glow' and adjusted the paramenters until i was happy with the effect. That fish is amazing mate, it really is. 5 November 2009 at 11:23.

Stamps Angler Fish ° Vampire Squid ° Chambered Nautilis. Chambered Nautilus - update 1. To create my Chambered Nautilus I initially selected 'Slines' and drew an Arc. This arc would form the shape of my basic shell. Next I lofted this shape which gave me a 'C' shape. I then arranged the vertices to give me the desired shape. I deleted half the shape and only worked on one side, then used the symmetry modifier to ensure I had perfect symmetry. Initial vampire squid stamp. Chambered Nautilus Update 2.

The previous version was not going to allow me to create sufficient legs without deleting the vast majority of the model. Im happy I did start again because the second model is a big improvement over the original. Still a long way to go with this model, and it will be interesting creating the semi transparent materials for the webbed sections.

Here is my new snake as I didn't like the texture on the previous snake, I had some problems with the texture as I felt that the snake didn’t look real. I redesigned the snake changing the texture to make it seem more real and life like. 12 November 2009 at 11:41. That looks awesome mate. If you add a couple of 90 degree kinks it would be a cool 3d version of the old classic Nokia 3210 game lol. Love the material you chose, really works well.

3D Modelling and Animation. Saturday, 14 November 2009. My snakes has a new flexible body and looks a lot more like a snake then its head has been cut off and attach on top of a pringles pot. I would say I spent about 6 hours leaning and using on how to use the bone tool in my work. I have to say that I’m happy with the results. I initially tried doing it by manipulating a simple cylinder, but ended up drawing an outline in illistrator and lathing it.
