Walking around tokyo with my dog (sometime without him). 30 September, 2006. Kishibojin / Zoshigaya area (2). Several years ago, before Lee was born, we lived in east side of Mejiro, Toshima-ward. There was a calm and tiny temple near our apartment and we loved the place. My daughter and I often visited this temple yard. Even now, I sometime drop in there during the weekend walking with Lee. The name of the temple is "Kishibojin". I heard that Kishi. Jin and the name of the closest tram station is Kishi.

On Saturday morning (April 1st), we visited the Harima-zaka park again. They were in full bloom! Posted by Shige d at 1:05 AM. Shidare-zakura / weeping cherry trees at the Rikugien garden, Komagome, part 2. Let Shige introduce the outline of the Rikugien garden. Regular opening hour is 9:00 to 17:00, but at the Sakura season, it's open till late.

This photo is the view from the office where Shige is working, which is located near the Tokyo station. Can you see a small shrine on the roof of a building? I think, in an average year, this weekend would be the best days for enjoying yellow colored ginkgo trees, actually the Ginkgo Festival was held in Jingu-Gaien today.
