Room 2 at Lee Stream School. Friday, 12 June 2015. I am very interested in learning about Red Back Spiders, so during Discovery Time I read about them and made this poster. At the next Discovery I (with Mrs Langley's help) ran a workshop making these yummy Red Back Spiders. They tasted as good as they look. Tuesday, 19 May 2015. The Museum Trip Term 1 2015. Last week the whole school went to the Museum to find out about the very early explorers to New Zealand, the Polynesians. We looked at the large map to see whereabouts the places were that the Polynesians came from. We were interested in the different kinds of boats. We listen to Kim talk to us about the migration to NZ. The children go on a quest to find materials and food required for the trip and for survival in a new land. Traps for catching eels.
