December 28, 2016. And I’m supposed to be working, but I’m distracted. By the lack of us. By my tortured question of what happened? And my insatiable, almost painful curiosity of why it seems so easy for people to walk right in and out of my life. And now, what seems as at the end of a long summer, I’m left not knowing how to feel. So, I’m just sitting here with my morning bun and hazelnut latte. Not feeling like crying but trying to make sense of the muffled cries coming from my heart.
