And for some reason we don’t get a day off like most L48 teachers do to make up for the over-contract time . . . let’s hope we at least get financially compensated. There are occasional rewards to teaching in the bush, though. 5-minute walk back home (take that, Gambell! I spied three of my four girl students walking across the village square.

Our sweet little girl isn't so little anymore :). 6 month stats: 17 pounds, 6 ounces with her cloth diaper on (68%) and 25 3/4 inches (41%). She is still eating 6 oz every 3-4 hours. She is mainly wearing 6 month clothes. She likes to blow raspberries which just means spit EVERYWHERE. Good thing she's cute. She got her first tooth this month. It's on the bottom, and I think the other bottom one is close also.

Friday, 24 December 2010. Well, it's been a crazy few weeks but we've made it to the end. First we had a quick four day vacation, then my mom came to visit (which was fantastic! Monday, 25 April 2011. Lost 2.5 pounds this week. That's a total of 5.5 lbs in 3 weeks. Yay! Will start week 3 of couch to 5k this week. I stayed behind a week because I wasn't feeling well after last week. We're planning a royal wedding watch party for Friday and then Jed's sister gets here on Monday. Thursday, 25 February 2010. The precariousness of packing. I am very happy to say that I am finally getting to think about packing for real this time! Find a way to fill my list of things left to worry about. In reality I have no reason to worry. Will it really matter if all of my yarn doesn't make it into my suitcase? She is wearing 0-3 months clothing.well and some 3 months clothes because I have a lot more 3 months than 0-3. She is in cloth 100% of the time. She is eating 5 oz every 3-4 hours. She still wakes up 2 times during the night to eat, but goes back to sleep easily. She has the best little pouty face ever. It's super cute! She started smiling this month! We love you sweet girl!
