A Hopeful Adoption Story. Monday, May 30, 2011. So which kiddie pool to buy? You got it, go big or go home.in this case we went big and went home with the super deluxe, blue plastic pool, with the slide and pictures for the bargain price of $30 at Walmart. I think I was more excited about it than Christian was :). I got in, and yep he was right, it WAS COLD! Back to work tomorrow and Christian's first day at the new daycare. A Hopeful Adoption Story. Sunday, April 22, 2012. Well the weather this weekend wasn't great but we did our best to still have fun. We made our own puzzles! I stopped at ArtMart and while browsing, found plain white 10 piece kids puzzles that you draw/paint yourself. I bought three and we had fun using the markers to create our Picassos and then putting them together. He broke into a run up the hill with a huge smile on his face, asking if he could go again :). A Hopeful Adoption Story. Wednesday, August 31, 2011. Sorry readers, for the long pause in my posting. I was swamped over the weekend with family events and Christian's birthday party. Then last night, and again tonight, I had to bring home some work to do after Christian fell asleep. I plan on posting tomorrow, along with some birthday party photos, so stay tuned. A Hopeful Adoption Story. Wednesday, March 7, 2012. Ears, Nose and Knees oh my! Christian has had it rough the last week. He's had a cold for a few days, cough and stuffy/runny nose. We've been blowing his nose for what seems every 15 minutes which has caused it to be sore. So not only did he not want to blow his nose anymore because it hurt, it was draining down his throat making him cough so much he would gag. Hoping for an interrupted night's sleep tonight. A Hopeful Adoption Story. Monday, October 31, 2011. Christian loved trick or treating! We went to my parent's house (the town I grew up in) for the weekend to celebrate my Mom's birthday and trick or treat. My 11 yr old niece let us tag along with her and she was so patient and nice to help Christian go from house to house. We piled into my sister's SUV and headed out. We had practiced saying, 'trick or treat,' and 'thank you', and he did great! But hey, the good news is, we made it home safe and sound.

They are composing an actual signed agreement that will include all the changes and are supposed to meet in June to go over the rough draft. Wednesday, October 6, 2010. Where I Stand Now. The girls recently turned 2 years old. I was very sad to miss their birthday but figure we will celebrate big for their 3rd birthday! Hopefully the orphanage acknowledged their birthday in some form or fashion. I have finished all my court paperwork and have most of my orphanage donations. The girls are doing so wonderfully! They are developing unique personalities and are just both such joys. I was looking at photos of them from our first month home.
