If someone were to ask me on a date and I wasn’t interested I would tell them. If someone asks how their muffins tasted I would tell them. If someone tells me something I don’t get hints, I like to hear it like it is with some thought put into it. Or so I thought. They’re so cute and lovable. From now on I’ll wake up when he tells me to. See, it worked.

Whatever is left of this right brain after a long day. Sometimes I wish I could walk around the my neighborhood with a huge flashing sign on my head saying ‘shut the f up’. From hoons to social retards to neighbours who park their car right outside my window, it’s getting a tad too much now. And who in the world puts out their wheelie bin at 11pm, beer bottles and all, and it’s again right outside my window? And who wakes up at 5:30am and slams their car door and wakes me up every morning?

As I swam down the lane I couldnt help but realize it’s warmer down the ends where the kids congregated. And saltier too. Despite being the only preg one in the pool, and feeling like i belonged with the kids, I felt blessed to have been given the opportunity to swim. I swear I was the slowest too. The first half of this year was for the most part consumed by the audiovisual mix project I set up called Intertext Editions. I'm happy to say that since then I have.
