Friday, June 30, 2006. So, obviously, I have too much time on my hands. I have had fun taking tons of blog quizzes this evening. Click on one. Have some fun yourself. And when you submit one, the options change to even more and more quizzes. Cool. Say hello to my layouts! Wednesday, June 28, 2006. Just thought it was time to update, but not much new to say. First, thank you for all the supportive comments about the girls and life in general for us right now. It means a lot! Turns out we're staying in tow...

Wednesday, September 27, 2006. Ok, so Blogger is driving me nuts. What's with this thing? Sunday, September 10, 2006. So we did it.the girlie girls are in pre-school now. They love it. Though Emily informed me the first day, the day when the parents were only down the hall in the parent meeting volunteering for the phone tree and to make Play-doh, that "I looked everywhere for you, and then I cried." How sweet is that? Sent me (thanks, Kara! I cut my name and a flower out of each with the Wishblade, whic...

[my scrapping life]: Happy Hallo-Curio Cabinet!
http://traceyrhodes.blogspot.com/2012/10/happy-hallo-curio-cabinet.html
Saturday, October 06, 2012. Found a cute idea on Pinterest that inspired this. We have a built-in curio in the living room, and it was high-time I dust it off and give it a re-do, holiday style! What do you think? This was pretty easy as I had a lot of cute, small decor ready to go. Made up that mummy card earlier this week, and it filled a final space on the shelf just right. :). [my scrapping life]: October 2012
http://traceyrhodes.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Saturday, October 13, 2012. Busy week, as I am jumping in mid-semester as the new instructor on two writing classes. Nothing too exciting to report. I did take my class to hear a speech on campus by a top economic advisor from the Obsma administration, Kruegger.first name escaping me at the moment. Here's a photo. And here's a message from my Maddie that she just thought was too cute. Smile, everyone! Sunday, October 07, 2012. Made spaghetti sauce and a quick cavatelli for an easy dinner. Yum. I was insp...

[my scrapping life]: October 2009

Tuesday, October 06, 2009. Yes, I am a bad blogger. Yeah, I know. I do still like blogs. I do still like Blogging. I'm trying to make a go of the Examiner.com article-writing, but that's hard, too, especially since school started and we're on the go so much. I need to get back on that effort as much as possible. And scrapbooking? Not since a July crop. Maybe soon. And knitting? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Yes, I am a bad blogger. Ethereal template. Template images by andynwt.

Saturday, November 10, 2012. A Night with Little House. We had a fun, impromptu evening out on Thursday at the Des Moines Playhouse for the opening of "Little House at Plum Creek." The girls really had a great time. And hubs and I enjoyed as well. Thursday, November 01, 2012. Absolutely amazing, how fast October passed. Now that it's November 1, I find it actually hard to believe October has come and gone already. Of course, the big October event was trick or treat! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

[my scrapping life]: July 2006
http://traceyrhodes.blogspot.com/2006_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 17, 2006. Edited - completed class projects shown in the slide show now. I had some scrapping time this week and am glad to have finished it. Each "page" has a large journaling tag tucked in with ribbon tied. Had a pre-paid class with Donna Downey on Saturday. Pretty fun! A little disappointed in the level of the project for the cost, but very glad she used BG Urban Couture papers instead of the pictured ones in the brochure. I love those! Friday, July 14, 2006. [my scrapping life]: May 2006
http://traceyrhodes.blogspot.com/2006_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 28, 2006. Quick post here to show off this little layout. It's in the BOM I started back, oh.last fall? I found an article in Simple Scrapbooks magazine about doing an "about me" layout or book, and I thought it would be fun. Basically, there are questions to answer such as name, age right now, age I feel I am inside, last cd I bought, what I'm wearing right now, etc. This little layout is the "what I'm wearing right now" page I did last night. What I'm showing off (here ya go, Kathy! Lots of...
