Sports Hunt: July 2012
http://thesportshunt.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 27, 2012. Bringing Literature to the Classroom. You Can Help! This is where I need your help. One of our units deals with "Coming of Age" and while there are some great, classic novels that would suit this unit just fine (and have done so in the past), I want to give my students something at least a little more modern in terms of time period and actions of the characters. So I am using The Perks of Being a Wallflower. By Stephen Chbosky as the anchor text of the unit. Posted by Kevin Hunt.

Sports Hunt: February 2009
http://thesportshunt.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 15, 2009. It's been awhile since taking one of these on, so I'll do my best to get out what's been brewing inside my brain. The NASCAR season began today and I've decided I'm going to be a more avid fan this year. Mainly I need something to fill the void left by the absence of football. I grew up an auto racing fan, so it doesn't take much to get me back into gear (pun intended). Let me delve into one of the greatest ideas of all time. 8221; bracket that you blatantly ripped off from us).

Sports Hunt: December 2010
http://thesportshunt.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, December 11, 2010. My Smile for Fight. It was both the most awkward and the most hopeful I had felt in weeks. Standing in a hospital room at the foot of a bed occupied by someone who had gone from "just fine" to "discuss the options" within two months. And there I was - smiling. I didn't receive a funny text message. I wasn't looking in the hallway at a little kid making a funny face, either. In fact, I wasn't smiling because something was funny. Posted by Kevin Hunt. And that means we have quite a bit to catch up on. Week 8 holds a lot of intriguing match-ups, including a Browns team heading back home to face one of the worst teams in the league just after having lost to one of the worst teams in the league. Spider on Sports: Quick CBJ Thoughts
http://spideronsports.blogspot.com/2010/09/quick-cbj-thoughts.html
Monday, September 20, 2010. It's times like this I wish I worked in journalism. What? Often From what I've read, a few very interesting stories are already developing after the first few days that have started to put me in the hockey mood. Kris Russell sprains his knee. Testing a young gun line. Yep Is Commodore's more than he's worth? Turns out my thoughts ran a little longer than I thought, and we're not even a week into training camp.I really like hockey. Spider on Sports: Columbus Blue Jackets 2011-12 Preview/Ramblings
http://spideronsports.blogspot.com/2011/10/columbus-blue-jackets-2011-12.html
Thursday, October 13, 2011. Columbus Blue Jackets 2011-12 Preview/Ramblings. Yes, I realize four games isn't a huge sample size, but I've at least seen the team play and can form some of my own opinions, rather than re-hashing what I read online. Just think of this as part preview, part review(yes, that is the tag line from my days working on Bobcat Blitz, I'm sure everyone's familiar with it). But Burrows got multiple whacks at the puck a foot from the goal.shocking that he scored. Again, Mason has defi...
