Wednesday, 11 February 2009. Start of the Journey. We started off in the Three Sisters Pub at about 10:30 on Friday morning and began walking. We headed east past holyrood castle and tried to get a lift outside of Meadowbank, with no success. (Some people even threw their drink at Jack in his lego suit! Wednesday, 11 February 2009. It didn't take us too long to get a lift out of Jedburgh and our mood really was ecstatic. Tuesday, 17 February 2009. That didn't last long. Actually, it lasted terribly long. Not the feeling of undampened optimism, but the excrutiating wait in Medway.
