Fun Friday: Can canned food lead to health? A short time to be there ». How many cancer survivors do you know? I’m 61. In my immediate circle of family and close friends, I know 6. If I extend my circle out to acquaintances and what I’ve heard from conversation with them, the number multiplies quickly. It is widely accepted: “those who continue to learn and are mentally active in old age remain more mentally fit than those who don’t.”. I recently joined family to celebrate my father-in-law on the occasion of his 95th birthday. His bride of 68 years, and 93-year-old wife was there too. Both mobile, mentally acute, joy to be with. For the digitally fluent, brain gyms.
