Abby in Seattle: The Storyteller
http://abbyinseattle.blogspot.com/2013/08/the-storyteller.html
Sunday, August 4, 2013. Book Title: The Storyteller. I have read all but one of Jodi Picoult’s books. She is one of my favorite authors for her story telling style and her clear focus on presenting both sides. This story is about a woman named Sage. She is a baker who hides from the general public because of a scar on her face. She attends a grief circle due to the loss of her mother and meets this lovely ,elderly gentleman named Josef. Josef starts coming to the bakery and becomes friends with Sage.

The Tootles: June 2011
http://tootlefam.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Friday, June 10, 2011. Tonight, after his bath, Otis was flipping through Steve's Road and Track. Magazine and started cheerfully counting to 10, over and over. We were so surprised because until this moment, his counting consisted of "two, three, four, nine." It was also the first time he put more than two related words together. He'll say "big truck" and "Stuck! And "Brr, Cold" but to hear his little voice clearly saying TEN words in a row was pretty amazing! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

He is always on the go, and always wants to be outside running! There is no way I am going to try to chronicle everything that has happened since the last blog post, but here's a slideshow of a few highlights:. Also, Otis is going to be a big brother in December! Abby in Seattle: August 2013
http://abbyinseattle.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 11, 2013. Five Year Class Reunion. In May, I went back to college for a weekend. It was my 5 year college reunion. It was a wonderful weekend and I am so glad I got to go. I took a red eye from Seattle to Chicago. Unfortunately, I couldn’t really sleep. Partly excited and partly just uncomfortable flying positions. Got in a couple hours later but got there! I checked in and found my roommate for the weekend, my friend Megan Gill. It was a great time and we all had a blast. Caitlyn and I at...

Abby in Seattle: Musical Memories
http://abbyinseattle.blogspot.com/2014/01/musical-memories.html
Friday, January 17, 2014. Music is an emotional thing for me. But, I don't think any of this is news. I always have my phone or iPod ready to go with a playlist based on a road trip. Kendal has come to expect it! So here are some songs that put me right back in a situation:. Bleed American album by Jimmy Eat World. 8211; This entire CD makes me think of Lord of the Flies. Heirlooms by Amy Grant. Bandages by Hot Hot Heat. Jump, Jive an' Wail by The Brian Setzer Orchestra. In This Diary by the Ataris.

3inCasaClark: Chloe's 10th Birthday Bash
http://3incasaclark.blogspot.com/2010/03/chloes-10th-birthday-bash.html
Tuesday, March 23, 2010. Chloe's 10th Birthday Bash. There was plenty of monkeying around too. The kids all seemed to have a good time. For snacks we offered homemade granola, organic baby carrots from KMK Farms, organic mandarins, and of course cupcakes with cream cheese frosting. All told, with the help of her awesome guests, Chloe's party helped raise $300 for local land conservation. Thank you guys for making it such a lovely day and for helping Chloe make a real difference locally. What a great crew!

3inCasaClark: July 2009
http://3incasaclark.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 22, 2009. Chloe is finally a big girl with pierced ears. It's going to fast. Friday, July 10, 2009. Look at those beets. Went to the garden today because I didn't have room to pull some beets that were ready to go. Yesterday I came home with butternut squash, eggplants, spaghetti squash, zucchini, cucumbers (which I'm pickling), arugula, and some chard. Back to the beets; aren't they gorgeous? Thursday, July 9, 2009. I made homemade cornmeal! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Look at those beets.
