ah-MAZE-zah-zing: What'd You Call Me?
http://purpleturtlechavez.blogspot.com/2012/07/whatd-you-call-me.html
What'd You Call Me? Day 16- A song that describes you. My first thought was Diva by Beyoncé. I realize that this may put me in a light that shouts, ARROGANT! But truly I am not. This song illustrates how I feel when I see/meet a guy that I’m attracted to. I DO think I’m a “big deal.” I’m not like other girls. I mean, of course I am in most stereotypical ways but at the same time, I’m not. If you wanna go hang out w/ your boys, go for it! 03 July, 2012 00:57. You ARE a big deal, an amazing one! I am on a ...

Day 17 – A song that no one would expect you to love. Beautiful People- Marilyn Manson. He was pretty much my counselor. I would talk to him about a lot of things and he would LISTEN. That was a big thing for me at that age. Heck it’s still a big thing now. At that age, it was pretty much just about my family and my middle-child-syndrome issues. This week has been crazy w/ weather. Severe and thunder storms, tons lighting, high winds, heat advisories and more! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

ah-MAZE-zah-zing: September 2011
http://purpleturtlechavez.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
How are my lovely Bloggies doing this fine evening? Well, it’s evening for me. I started this post two days ago. I had about half a page worth of writing. Turns out it was a bunch of self-wallowing. I erased it. All! Now I am starting anew. The boys used Nani and Matt’s rackets and we picked up a can of tennis balls on the way. We had a blast! I hadn’t played tennis since I was in high school. Holy cow! It’s kind of funny how my blurb on the song of the day turns into a whole novel. I hope that this summ...

http://purpleturtlechavez.blogspot.com/2012/07/whatcha-say.html
Day 13 – A song that you wish you heard on the radio. Walk the Dinosaur- Was (Not Was). This takes me back to my hanabaddah (basically pre-k to kindergarten) days. How do you even spell that? I remember seeing the video. I would settle for any other song that was big back then. You know, back when it was truly music. Ha, we won’t get into that. Less than two weeks already? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Boxes, Kids, Degrees, Oh My! Half of a Fortnight. Whatd You Call Me? I am on a constant road of s...

Riddle Me This: May 2009
http://susibell.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, May 7, 2009. I've been listening to a lot of NPR (National Public Radio) in the mornings as I go to work and when I go home. It's not a new concept for me; I actually quite enjoy it. The past week, I've learned heaps. Did you know that the big influenza epidemic of 1918 was actually called the Spanish Flu? And this flu pandemic spread to nearly every part of the world? I wanted to learn more about about the Pullman Porters, so I went to NPR. I found all sorts of fun stuff! 4 Old Man and the Sea,.

Riddle Me This: Segway--Still Moving?
http://susibell.blogspot.com/2009/08/segway-still-moving.html
Thursday, August 6, 2009. Remember the revolutionary machine "The Segway"? Oh, what a delight and tragedy that piece of technology was. I saw one today for the first time in years; hence, prompting my blog. I was in a professional office in St. George and sitting there by the door was none other than a segway. Who knew these things were still around? I must admit, they are phenomenal! Cruising around at 20 miles per hour was rather fun! Will be to the car what the car was to the horse and buggy. 13 Thoma...

Riddle Me This: September 2010
http://susibell.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 28, 2010. The Irony of It All. Yes, it's been over a year since my last post. And you may be asking yourself, "What would prompt Susi to post after a nearly 13 month sabbatical? The answer: the owner of the Segway machines passed away. A brief moment of silence before I tell you how. He died on a Segway. Now a brief moment for laughter. :). Yes, overall, Jimi's death is quite tragic- on all accounts. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. You thought you knew.

Boxes, Kids, Degrees, Oh My! Day 01 – Your favorite song at this time last year. Party Rock Anthem- LMFAO. Last summer had some awesome hits! This one was definitely everywhere I went, especially at home w/ the munchkins. They LOVE that song! Those are some pretty big things for me. There definitely was room for improvement but overall, I’d say it was a great year! I’ll be in five different states tomorrow. Pretty good, for an island girl, eh? Be safe, be happy, and find the joy in your life!
