Today I get to give you a peek at Momo's newest line, Neco. This first quilt is called Twirl. This quilt design is really a great way to show off the big and bold graphics of Neco and is so much fun to piece. It's a great pattern for beginners OR those of us who just like a quick project to turn out. All you need is 1 layer cake 2 charm packs. The second quilt is called Hugs and Kisses (XOXO). Goody Goody Binding Kit. It is common knowledge that a quilter is in need a lovely binding kit. I bind more than a few quilts every year, so a portable binding kit is essential for me. Whether I'm out on the road or at home, no matter the size of the quilt, I use my binding kit for every single project. I recently made this one using my new Gooseberry fabric. Splendid Sampler- Day 57. August 27, 2016. I am 57 out of 100. This is not my class rank or my finish in the last 5K I participated in. It is my block number in the Splendid Sampler. I call it the Super Splendid Sampler. (triple S). It seems like yesterday that I met with Pat Sloan. As they were cooking up this idea. There are scads of pumpkin recipes floating around these days and I've tried a couple that were good but my all time favorite pumpkin recipe is still a classic Pumpkin Bar with Cream Cheese Frosting. I like them more than a cake because the frosting/cake ratio is closer to being balanced. Haha! If you don't care for cream cheese frosting, #1 What is WRONG with you? Pumpkin Bars with Cream Cheese Frosting. 1 2/3 c. sugar. 1 c veg. oil. 15 oz canned pumpkin. 2 t baking powder.

Until I found a pattern that was done up into such a beautiful quilt I HAD to give it a try. This is the result. As usual, my long arm quilter made up for anything lacking due to my inexperience. I love her for that! Don't the blocks below look a little bit like old fashioned baby carriages. Okay, maybe I went too far that time!

While these types of patterns do use a little more fabric, it is amazing how much depth and dimension they add to a quilt. This one comes from Linda over at her blog, Buzzing and Bumbling.
