At Goodwill the other day, I found a ton of good stuff to glue together. Hello silver tray and tiered serving tray. I love the silver pieces, they are classic. I really wanted the tiered tray all one color, but didn't have the heart to paint the silver! So I left it. I've also been working on crafts, here's random holiday stuff! I spray painted the candlesticks white!

And found some shelves at Fred Meyer. They were $15 a piece. Ouch! I wanted 3. Well I will buy one a month for the next three months! When I got home the mounting hardware was missing, so it's not in the pics. Maybe I will come up with a cheaper way, my husband said he would make me some, but next year.haha!

Credit goes to my 12 year old daughter, Charley, for finding this recipe and baking up some amazingly incredible gingerbread cookies. She was in the holiday mood and desperately wanted to make a traditional sweet treat. She found this cookie recipe in one of her favorite cookbooks but sadly did not find a gingerbread man cutter anywhere in the house. So we settled on heart shapes and we are all very pleased with the results. Thank-you, Charley :). So get baking, people! 2 3/4 CUPS all purpose flour.

Rosettes are red…and blue…and…. September 20, 2011. I recently became crazed with turning all of my scrap fabric into rosettes. Then I became challenged with what to do with them.
