For the mug rugs in the tutorial photos I used raw edge appliqué to use up some of the scraps from my large poinsettia quilt. I really like this Lynette Anderson embroidery design which uses simple stitches to great effect and the little blue bird is delightful. Thursday, 25 August 2016. Just a very quick post this time - I got a bit excited this morning when I randomly laid out all the big hexagons that I have made since I wrote about making donuts.
