3000 Bosses: September 2010
http://3000bosses.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 16, 2010. I would have titled it "Happy Happy Joy Joy" but that title was slightly tinged with sarcasm. I find sarcasm dishonest. Then I thought to title it "Wife Of My Youth," which is the way my friend Nick playfully addresses his bride. But I thought that title was too revealing, maybe too honest. So I settled for the title "Freedom.". Here is the poem:. Knowing me, and loving true,. As I am sometimes prone to do. I can no longer in good conscience. Recommend myself to you. So we'r...

This Pilgrim's Cross. The Daily Struggles of a Pilgrim Carrying His Cross. 8220;…and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”. Is basically a three section passage. verses 19-25 contain reasons and ways to persevere, verses 26-31 are some serious warnings about abandoning the Christian fellowship, and verses 32-39 are kinda like a pep talk to those who are persevering, to help them to keep on keepin’ on. Right now I am going to focus on the first section. 2 We Have A Great High Priest. 8220;Now, bro...

This Pilgrim's Cross. The Daily Struggles of a Pilgrim Carrying His Cross. My Personal Declaration Of Independence. For too long I have kept silent on the things I hold most dear. And as such have allowed myself to stray and others to take them from me. No more. This is who I am, and no one has the right to strip these things from me. And I will live and die on these principles. Love it or leave it, this is who I am. Note: Read all these points. You can follow any responses to this entry through the RSS ...

Muesli Morsels: February 2010
http://mueslimorsels.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 28, 2010. I'll miss the Olympics. The Winter Games are far more interesting to me than the Summer Games. For some reason I'd much rather watch someone in a leotard barrel headfirst down an ice track at 90 miles per hour than someone in a leotard heaving a giant, heavy ball from the palm of his/her/its hand. For a while.). I also love the chaos of short track speed skating and the snowboard cross. (Ski cross doesn't do it for me.) Any event with tightly packed bodies careening aro...Loved...

Music in Oldtown | Simply Life Photography

I love shooting…. On February 7, 2010. Recently I had the privilege of going to the Wildwood bar to listen to some great music. My friends, Meredith and Katie, own the place. I hadn’t heard of the musicians before and I feel a little bit ripped off by that fact. I mean, why is it that I am so slow to catch on to the good musicians? I want to be the one to discover good music for once! First up was Joe Firstman. 9654; One Response. Yeah, that was a fun night and great music! Leave a Reply Cancel reply.
