Tuesday, June 28, 2011. Ireland - Day 3 (photos and video). Our last day in Ireland was really fun- horseback riding through Kilarney National Park. And cruising the Dingle Peninsula. Krista's the only one that came prepared with her own riding boots. They even had a horse (named Bill) tall enough for Jason! Not at all a picture I was expecting to bring back from Ireland. Monday, June 27, 2011. Windsor Castle and Jane Austen's House (photos and videos). We all set out for Windsor Castle. Magnificent tomb (as he did with most of Wolsey's things), but somehow it fell through. Centuries later, Admiral Nelson. Ended up with it, instead. King Henry VIII, was relegated to a very nondescript vault under the choir along with a few other people (including one his wives, Jane Seymour. But not Jane Seymour. Is that Rapunzel up there? Next we headed to Chawton to see Jane Austen's.

Tuesday, July 24, 2012. Now that I finally have all the right photos moved on to our current computer, I decided to FINALLY catch up on our blog! So for the record, my next few posts will all be from last year. I am so sorry we took such a long hiatus. With Jason and Krista) and decided to go bungee jumping! Stone Mountain, GA. Since Jim's parents were in town for the weekend, we decided to checkout some of the sites. Stone Mountain is both a historical monument and a family theme park. View from the tram. The look out tower from the top of Stone Mountain. Soaking up the sun. We didn't go to the BIG zoo at the park, but we did visit with a few animals at the plantation. 2012 Lowry Family Christmas. This was my attempt at using the tripod and setting the timer on the camera. It took a few takes before I could move my pregnant self fast enough to get in the picture. Ellie's 18 month check up. She was 50% for height and 5% for weight. Still has a big head, but we love her anyway ;-). Just another pic of Ellie in the tub. She is getting so BIG. We went to Ikea a few weeks ago and brought this gem back. We have moved it to the bedroom and use it as a reading nook adorned with pillows and blankets. Update on Ellie’s Medical status. As she gets older, her lungs will get larger and making it easier to breathe when she gets sick. Until then, we need to keep her away from children and crowded indoor areas during flu season. We have pulled her out of preschool and avoid taking her to stores whenever possible. Unfortunately, there is only so much we can do to prevent viruses since soap doesn’t kill them. One of the gals in my ward told me about this great place to take Ellie for swim lessons. It's a little "red neck," but great lessons. The biggest draw for me was having two aids per child work on skills while I watch from the side lines with Hannah. They make the kids walk the plank at the end of the day. Most parents are clapping and encouraging. Under my breath, I hum a pirate melody and laugh. I'm such a mean mom ;-). Ellie found some comfort hanging with Avery, her BFF. For Time and All Eternity.

Family Time with the Grand and Great Gandparents. Jim's parents flew in from Harper's Ferry, WV and his mother's parents drove from Utah to see the newest grand baby and attend her blessing.
