Lundi 25 mars 2013. Yesterdays - J.Kern. Aujourd'hui, je voudrais juste partager quelques petites choses entendues sur ce fameux standard de Jérôme Kern. Il y a, mesure 5 et 6, une montée mélodique qui déroute parfois les débutants quant il s'agit de l'harmoniser. Le Real Book n'étant pas une source suffisamment fiable pour s'en contenter, j'ai donc relevé quelques harmonisations de pianistes sur ce passage précis. Vendredi 5 octobre 2012. Aujourd'hui, voici un peu d' Oscar Peterson. J'ai ré-écouté ce superbe album Ella And Oscar. En duo avec Ella Fitzgerald. Enregistré en 1975. Ray Brown les rejoints sur quelques pistes à la fin du disque. J'ai relevé quelques parties de piano qui me semblent typiques du jeu d'Oscar:. How long has been going on. Lundi 18 mars 2013. Lotus Blossom - Billy Strayhorn. Voici aujourd'hui l'exposé de ce magnifique thème de Strayhorn. J'ai plusieurs versions de ce morceau (j'ai mis les références en bas de la partition. j'ai privilégié les versions de pianistes). Chacun harmonise à sa façon la grille d'accords. Par conséquent j'ai mis sur la partition des accords alternatifs à certains endroits. La grille écrite au-dessus me semble plus ou moins respecter la version originale. Libellés : Billy Strayhorn.
