Two Months To Go. It’s August 7th, the end is nearly seven weeks away and certain races are tighter than ever. With the non-waiver Trade Deadline done, let’s see where each team is stacked. I decided to give my opinion on the teams still hunting. Note: These are all teams that are at least 7 games back of a PLAYOFF SPOT. Okay, this is probably my most bold. Why this new relalignment creates more problems than solves them. So as you people know, it is nearly official that the Astros will move to the AL West making each league 15 teams and each division 5 teams. And as well adding two more playoff spots with each league producing 5 playoff teams. Now of course problem #1. If that is so, when is the last time that EITHER one has won the AL East? After the 2002 All-Star Game incident, the tie game in Milwaukee, Selig decided to make these games meaningful, and honestly the idea is pretty good. Nothing needs to change in the Midsummer Classic. Well, without a doubt baseball has presented as the best All-Star format out of the three, it feels the most like a real game (which is a good thing), and is the most enjoyable. Honestly, I wouldn’t change anything about it. Honestly, it is a tactic that is used to bring in the small market viewers, but it has never been an issue for me and lately even less due to the enormity of young talent each team possesses.
