Working on a full house: October 2012
http://blangsdau.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Working on a full house. Sunday, October 21, 2012. 20 weeks, 3 days: I remember this part. The part where I have started to feel the baby move . but not regularly enough to be reassuring. It's inconsistent enough still to drive me batty. Oh well, hopefully soon she'll be driving me crazy with the all-night dance parties. Z's new words this weekend, both remarkably clear: happy and apple. And he seems to have a special little friend in his class at daycare, Evie ("Ebbie"). Links to this post. The anatomy ...

Working on a full house: February 2011
http://blangsdau.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Working on a full house. Tuesday, February 22, 2011. 31 weeks, 6 days: It's a real baby! I had an ultrasound today to check growth. Baby looks great - weighing about 4 pounds 3 ounces (57th percentile) and head down. And I got a special treat - 3-D pictures! He's the spitting image of his daddy, Uncle Brian, and cousin Hayden. The first pic is a profile, with his left upper arm and right knee. The second is his face, partially obscured by his leg, and his left hand. Links to this post. Links to this post.

Working on a full house: April 2011
http://blangsdau.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Working on a full house. Monday, April 25, 2011. Zachary: G-d Has Remembered. And we believe that He has. We picked the name in light of our infertility. (And because there was an adorable little boy named Zachary sitting behind us on an airplane at Thanksgiving, and we just really liked the name.) But after the harrowing events of Z's arrival. So the name has layers of meaning and connection for us. Links to this post. A much delayed announcement: he's here! Links to this post. Friday, April 8, 2011.

Working on a full house: Pink or blue?
http://blangsdau.blogspot.com/2012/10/pink-or-blue.html
Working on a full house. Saturday, October 6, 2012. The big anatomy scan is Thursday, at exactly 19 weeks. I'm trying hard not to think about the fact that they're really looking to see if anything is scary with the heart, lungs, brain, GI tract, etc. It's going to be fun! So is it a boy or a girl? Let's take a look at some old wives' tales:. 1 Carrying high or low? If low, it's a boy. This was true with Zack. Too soon to tell with this one. 7 Is the hubster gaining weight? I'm starting to feel those flu...

Working on a full house: Word of the week
http://blangsdau.blogspot.com/2012/10/word-of-week.html
Working on a full house. Thursday, October 18, 2012. Word of the week. He says "Kirby," the name of our dear old dog, pronounced "Aa-bee." My mama heart melts. He says "baby" as "bebe," in a lovely French accent. I talk about the baby in Mama's belly, but he gets very confused and looks at his own belly button. He's also added book ("booo"), boat ("bow"), bird ("burrrr") and sometimes says that a horse says, "Neigh.". He can show you his tongue and fingers and your teeth. Word of the week. Jesus Needs Ne...
