The two options that we've used for travelling to Le Pouch are driving and flying. You could also take the train and then rent a car from a major station and drive the final part of the route though we've never tried it. Click the map to the right for a link to multimap. We are just over an hours drive from Toulouse and Bergerac airports. There are lots of budget flights to both. With 3 big bedroooms Le Pouch provides comfortable accommodation for 2 families. In the summer we live most of the time outside and there is a large garden and pool where children can play or you can read a book under the shade of a tree. Large well equipped kitchen (we love cooking) with gas oven, fridge-freezer, microwave and dishwasher. Sitting room with TV and a good selection of DVDs. This room is nice and cool to sit in when it's hot but also has a wood-burning stove if it's cold at night.

From the pool there are wonderful views of the tiny local village of Ferrussac. Roquecor and Tournon are near-by. This part of France specialises in prunes, rugby and wine. To the west lies Agen - the prune capital of the world and to the east is Cahors - famous for its wine. Our local town Montagu de Quercy is only 5 minutes drive and a trip to the market on Saturday morning is a must.
