Leratos Hope, founded and based in 2002 in suburban Pinelands, Cape Town, South Africa, is a Christian non profit organisation which builds meaningful partnerships with existing grass roots organisations who care, treat, support and empower poor families affected by HIV and AIDS in the Cape Town areas of Gugulethu, Nyanga, Crossroads and Philippi.

Helping You to Support Children and Families affected by AIDS. There are two arms to our food distribution programme: Lerato’s Hope runs food drives to collect food items to pack into food parcels for our partner organisations, which is vital for their ministries to function effectively. This food is delivered on a bi-weekly basis, and specifically ordered by our partners according the needs of the people they serve. Each food parcel includes the following non-perishable items:. 500g Samp and beans.

Make a positive difference in the lives of a family affected by HIV – sponsor a Food Pack for R200, and help feed a family for a month, not bad considering it’s only the price of 2 movie tickets and a small popcorn. Sponsor a Food Pack for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months and make a positive difference! While we are grateful for clothing, we would appreciate if it is clean, folded and repaired.
